Anguloa

The approximately 10 species are widespread in the Andes. Its upright flowers, which stand alone at the end of the stem, are vividly reminiscent of a tulip. All species have thick, ovoid tubers and broad, folded leaves. The genus is partly combined with Epidendrum because of the small differences.
