KT: 12-16°C

formerly Odontoglossum ehrenbergii

Care tips:

Location:
A windowsill without strong sun and dry heating air. Of course, a conservatory that is not too warm but damp is even better. In summer also outdoors, if possible in the light shade of a deciduous tree and exposed to rain and dew.

Temperature:
In summer, no more than 22°C during the day, dropping to 15°C at night. In winter, around 18°C is enough during the day, at night as in summer, but not below 12°C. The temperature should harmonize with the available light.

Pour:
Throughout the year - especially in summer - the plant material must not dry out, but it must not be soaking wet either. Therefore water vigorously and let the water drain off again. Keep a little drier during the winter break in growth.

Fertilize:
Quite sensitive to salt. During the growth phase from March to October every 14 days with orchid fertilizer in half the specified concentration.
Do not fertilize in the dark period (November - February). Stop fertilizing once the new shoot has matured.
